Tango Untitled is an Argentine Tango teaching and performing collective based in Hong Kong. We teach, practise, learn and share tango through weekly classes, regular training, workshops with visiting artists, and duo and ensemble performances.

Our Belief

Tango Untitled is named for a belief we hold close: that tango is an untitled canvas—open, evolving and shaped by each dancer’s voice within the embrace.

How We Teach

In our classes, we focus on grounded technique, musical awareness and communication between partners. Our practice draws from the traditions of social tango and from the stage experience we continue to explore as performers.

We believe learning Argentine Tango begins with attention—to your own body, your partner and the music. Freedom in improvisation grows through patient practice, body awareness and a willingness to listen.

Our Experience

Our experience has been shaped by years of studying Argentine Tango in Hong Kong and across Asia, together with an extended period of training in Buenos Aires.

Members of Tango Untitled have represented China at the Mundial de Tango in Buenos Aires and participated in social, stage and ensemble competitions across Asia. We have also presented Argentine Tango at cultural venues in Hong Kong, including the Fringe Club and Hong Kong Design Hub, as well as at festivals and events overseas. These experiences continue to shape how we teach and perform.
